Ao and T8-T3 started the descent down the stairs into the Darkside cave. T8-T3 moved in front of Ao, cautiously and slowly.
“Hey, Tate, you don’t need to move that slow. I know your sensors are faster than that.” Ao hopped over the small droid. “Look, there’s a pair of crystals calling me. I’m not going to rush, but what you’re doing is overkill.” Continue reading →
Mrto felt the explosion deep in his core. The screams of the dying and the sudden silence fueled his dark powers. He absorbed as much of the suffering as he could from where he was and used some of it to finish breaking the bars in his cell. The tremor following the explosion had bent them, but not enough for him to escape. He ran to where the guards had taken his belongings and took them. He also took some of the other items. The other prisoners were dead and would no longer be needing them, anyway. Continue reading →
A small, pinkish vine climbed the landing strut of the shuttle. It disconnected from the ground and hid in the mechanism for retracting the strut. When it came time for takeoff the vine went unnoticed. Once the lander was securely attached to the ship the vine searched for a way onboard. It had only a limited time before it died of exposure to hard vacuum, and barely found a way to activate the airlock in time. It shed the dead outer layers of its cells and searched for the pantry. It needed to gain strength for the next part of The Great Plan. Continue reading →
Kemp stood on a battlefield covered with the blood of humans and skravyn. This war would later be known as the first skravyn-human war. The Warrior planned to stand on the side of the humans, being one himself, until he heard the human king order the army to kill the women and children.
“They are not people. They are animals. Slaughter them like animals!”
A righteous fury burned brightly in Kemp at that statement. He had never felt such fury before. In his rage he acted for The Vengeance. He walked calmly up to the king. Nobody stopped him. Maybe they recognized him, maybe they saw the great anger on his face. He wasn’t sure, but Kemp always remembered the look of the young prince’s face as he killed his father in front of him. Helena was about to throw fire again when Orby made her slow down. Wait. Focus your energy through me. Don’t quick cast if you can avoid it. Slow your breathing. Speak the word fire in draconic. Use that to focus.
Relaxing slightly the glowing in Helena’s arm focused into her hand and manifested in a green flame as she spoke a single word in draconic. She threw the flame at one of the shadow skeletons, causing the shadow to appear to bleed. Continue reading →

In this episode Michael and I (Josh) talk for a while about our session of Microscope, then talk a little about World of Warcraft and a few other MMO’s and RPG’s. We no longer play any of the MMO’s and RPG’s, but we have played them in the past.
The Jester and Simisola met up every once in a while. When fate and destiny intertwined strongly they were both drawn to the place where it was being woven. Today was one such day.
Standing in front of a few people who didn’t know who he was The Jester was starting to tell a story of the famed and doomed adventure to what the adventuring party called “The Below” as he was doing so, however, he saw a change in the wind.
“So the band of mary adventurers set out, and the weather was…the wind is changing. I’m sorry. I must go.” The Jester bowed apologetically and popped out of existence in front of them, leaving the people amazed. Continue reading →
[RPG Corner is a monthly post where I talk about something related to Role-Playing Games.]
Teblats appear in a part of Rebuilding Brangmar, and they will probably show up again.
Teblats can take the form of any tiny creature. The creature itself isn’t the teblat, instead the teblat is a parasite that gives the animal protection but also causes the animal to be more aggressive and appear to have a blue aura. This aura grows stronger when they have more temporary hit points and is very dim when they have none.
